All our staff are DBS checked and most hold a relevant childcare qualification and paediatric first aid certificates.
Sian is the Manger for our three clubs at HVASC. She has worked in the childcare sector for 13 years and has experience in a variety of different roles. Sian holds an NVQ level 3 in children's care learning and development as well as a level 2 in team leadership. In 2011 Sian won the NMT Nursery Nurse of the Year award. In her own time, Sian loves reading, yoga and swimming as well as exploring National Trust sites with her family.
Beth's worked at HVASC since 2019 and has recently completed a level 3 early years qualification. Beth is the Supervisor at our Children's Centre Club. She has two dogs whom she enjoys walking on the common and spends her free time swimming and playing football.
Ashley is the supervisor at our Institute club and holds a level 2 in children's learning and development as well as a diploma in child and youth work. She worked at HVASC for 10 years before leaving the club in 2018. We welcomed Ashley back in March 2021. Ashley is passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs and supports fostering pannels in her own time. She loves being outdoors climbing mountains, most recently Tryfan, and spending time with her friends and family.
Chelsea will be joining the HVASC team in November 2021. Chelsea holds a level 2 in children's learning and development. Chelsea enjoys spending time with her family and making memories with her four children.
Rose recently joined HVASC in September 2021, having previously worked in day nurseries. Rose holds a level 3 early years practitioner qualification. Rose is bilingual, she speaks Turkish and English, she enjoys fashion and spending time with her family.
Cat has been at HVASC for over 13 years and has previous experience as a private nanny. Before turning to childcare, Cat earned a National Diploma in hairdressing and photography. In her own time Cat helps out at a local pub and enjoys crafting and creating personalised gifts.
Afia has worked at HVASC for several years, as well as being a lunchtime assistant at Horsell Village School. Afia enjoys spending time with her family and doting on her beautiful grandchildren.
Diane has nearly 30 years of experience in the childcare sector and 22 years volunteering with girl guides. Before joining the HVASC team Diane was an advisor for the Preschool Learning Alliance. She also holds a level 3 qualification and the supervisor at our Junior club. Diane absolutely loves Christmas and in her own time enjoys crafting and researching her family tree.
Janice has over 35 years of experience in primary childcare and holds an equivariant level 2 qualification. Janice also offers community family support in her own time, including running toddler groups, faith groups, organising family events and supporting new parents.
